At Feldman, Kleidman, Collins & Sappe LLP (FKC&S), we believe that strong communities are built through programs that bring people together, and few organizations do that better than City of Poughkeepsie Youth Baseball Softball League.
This league provides young athletes with more than just a place to play t-ball, baseball or softball. Through participating, children develop teamwork, confidence, discipline and sportsmanship skills while creating lasting friendships and positive memories on and off the field. Whether a child is looking to play casually on a recreational team or competitively with one of the traveling teams, the City of Poughkeepsie Youth Baseball Softball League creates a safe and fun environment for them to learn and grow through the game.
Community support is vital to sustaining meaningful organizations like this one. Donations and sponsorships help cover the many costs that come with running a youth sports program, including equipment, field maintenance, uniforms and registration assistance so that more children have the opportunity to participate. Support from businesses and residents helps ensure that the league remains active and accessible.
Those interested in supporting can help in a number of ways. Community members can contribute through donations, volunteer their time or coach during the season, sponsor teams or simply come out to cheer on the players at local games. Every contribution — whether financial or through volunteering — helps keep youth sports thriving in Poughkeepsie.
At FKC&S, we’re proud to support organizations like the City of Poughkeepsie Youth Baseball Softball League that invest in the next generation and help strengthen the community we call home.
