Feldman, Kleidman, Collins & Sappe LLP (FKC&S) is proud to announce that Bain R. Loucks and Ryan T. Dwan have been selected as “Rising Stars” by MedPro Group and MLMIC Insurance Company (MLMIC).
The Rising Stars program was created by MedPro and MLMIC to recognize the dedication, drive and potential of attorneys who represent the future of the medical professional liability (MPL) defense trial bar. Honorees were invited to an exclusive event in September, which featured educational and professional networking components designed to support and develop the next generation of MPL defense trial attorneys.

Loucks, a partner at FKC&S, specializes in medical malpractice, professional liability and general liability litigation. He has extensive experience defending and counseling professionals in New York State and Federal courts, as well as handling complex appeals. Loucks earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2005 and joined FKC&S in 2018 after more than a decade of practice in New York City. He was named partner in early 2024.
A lifelong Hudson Valley resident, Dwan joined FKC&S as an associate at FKC&S in 2024. He concentrates on personal injury law and professional liability defense. After earning his law degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2021, Dwan practiced commercial and civil litigation at Corbally, Gartland and Rappleyea, LLP before joining the FKC&S team. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
